In this parashah, we discuss the trials Moses had to deal with as a representative of YHVH for the people of Israel. Although he was simply the messenger, any little thing that happened became Moses' fault. We discuss lessons learned about leadership from Moses' perspective. We also get into the story of Amalek, and why YHVH wanted his lime blotted from the earth. In this parashah, we read about the Sabbath for the first time since creation, and learn that contrary to popular belief, it isn't a "Jewish Sabbath", but rather a "Sabbath to YHVH.
